Terms & Conditions

Bookings: To make a booking, please call us on 020 8684 4414. Once your course is arranged, you will receive a booking confirmation. You should check the details carefully and send it back to us.
Fees: Please see course details on the courses page for price structure.
Discounts: Discounts are available for multiple bookings, and for charitable organisations. Please contact us for more details.
Client’s responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility, having referred to the relevant course outlines, to ensure that the course is suitable for the delegate’s requirements. Easypc4all accepts no liability in the event that the content of the course does not meet the client’s requirements or the delegate’s requirements.
Course materials: It is acknowledged that all course materials provided by Easypc4all are copyright and may not be copied or distributed unless expressly agreed in writing by Easypc4all.
Payment: An invoice will be issued on completion of the course. Full payment should be received within 30 days of the invoice date. If any payment due to Easypc4all is in arrears for more than 30 days, Easypc4all may charge interest on a day to day basis at the rate of four percent above bank base rate in force from time to time, from the due date of payment until the date of receipt.
Cancellation Fees: Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of the course. Otherwise Easypc4all reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% if less than 7 days, and 100% within 0-5 days notice.

I just want to be able to use a computer for personal use, can you help?

Myguide is a great way to get a quick introduction to computers and the internet. You can start from absolute beginners the mouse and keyboard are a good starting point. You can go on to learning about the Internet and email as well as what you can do online. Myguide works by providing a gateway to the internet that's easy to navigate, clean and simple, helping people who have never used the internet before and enabling them to send their first emails and access all the advantages the internet can provide.

I'm working in IT and I want to get certified but I don't know which course is right for me. Can you help?

We would recommend you start with ECDL Essentials, a level 1 qualification and progress to Level 2 ECDL Extra. Both are recognised qualifications

What is the ECDL/BCS Certificate

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is fast becoming an industry- standard qualification in IT user proficiency. It has been adopted by companies including HSBC, the Bank of England and Virgin Mobile. Achieving the ECDL will not only give you confidence with a range of common Microsoft Office software, but it will improve your employability by giving you an internationally recognised qualification.
I'm interested in a particular training but none of the courses meet my needs exactly. Can you help?

How long is each course?

Our training courses are all self-paced so you have the flexibility of when and where you wish to complete your course. For example, our ECDL course can be completed in a year, but you can complete it even earlier by increasing the time you dedicate to your studies. Conversely, you can take up to two years to complete the course if you're pressed for time.

What resources do I need?

You'll need a PC running Microsoft Windows (or a Mac with Windows support). Internet access is essential as all services can only be accessed online.

Will I get certified immediately after my course?

We are an accredited test centre and all exams are online giving you immediate certification on completion.

I'm not a UK resident. Am I eligible to take a SEEK Learning course?

Many of our courses are delivered online, so those living overseas may be eligible, however testing will have to be done at an accredited centre near you. To find your nearest test centre go to www.ecdl.co.uk.

Abilitynet - group evaluate what assistance an individual might need to help them access a computer. It is to find out what adjustments we might need to make to a computers settings or its keyboard and mouse for example, to help the learner do the things that they want to do. The centres recently became a partner with Abilitynet to provide remote assessment(RAPL) and IT training for the disabled. This was a one year project to provide 40 individuals an assessment and support but in just 4 months we have already done 27 assessments, far exceeding our estimate.
POP STOP – Partnership for older people is a mobile unit available 7 days a week, with a flexible timetable including evenings brings services to older people in Croydon. The unit delivers information, services and support to the older people and their carers in ordinary everyday settings right to the doorstep.
Croydon Librararies - The Library hosts many community services and events such as book clubs, homework help, family learning and housebound services to name just a few. Our centres wants to tap into more of these clients through joint activities. The centres would like to develop and deliver new activities for the hard to reach and organise open days, taking advantage of the libraries’ large membership and high footfall.
Community Contacts - Easy PC 4 All has already established fruitful relationships with many organisations within the community which ensure the take-up and support for the training offered. These good relations have enabled the centre to adapt courses to the needs of the learners.
Croydon Children’s centres - The staff at the centre will throughout this project continue to extend such contacts with several children’s centres in close proximity to the centre, where parents and careers meet and get support. They are primarily for all families with babies and under 5s living in Croydon. This project would target the younger single parents and carers, with learning disability through these venues and help them with IT skills to prepare them for employment.

Easy PC provide small group, 1 to 1, and classroom training to SME as well as Croydon libraries, NHS direct, Estate agents, accountants and solicitors.

Currently we are training Library and council staff (UKOnline basic IT, ECDL and ITQ (an NVQ qualification in IT etc.), local small businesses like Euro Alloys (MS packages mainly Excel, Word and Access) and nurses and care-workers skills in basic to intermediate level IT.

ECDL is an internationally recognised qualification.

There are two qualifications available, ECDL Essentials and ECDL Extra which are validated through the British Computer Society.

The courses are designed to cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace and society in general. Once both awards have been achieved the ECDL Core Award is automatically gained.

Course Outline

ECDL Essentials is a level 1 award which consists of three units:

Basic Concepts of IT
Hardware, software, storage devices, health &safety, system maintenance, the environment
Using Computers & Managing Files
Set-up, safety, creating folders, copying/moving files, running applications, operating system
Information & Communication
Create, read, reply, forward messages, netiquette,browsers, web sites & search engines

ECDL Extra is a level 2 award which consists of four units:

Word Processing
Formatting/editing text, creating & manipulating tables, mail merge, inserting objects.
Spreadsheets
Insert/edit/format cells, adding formulas, functions, addressing & creating charts
Presentation
Creating and manipulating slide shows, inserting & arranging slides, objects & adding animation
Improving Productivity Using IT
Scenario based questions that assess ability to use IT

Who should attend?
This course is suitable for candidates wishing to demonstrate their competence in computer skills at Levels 1 and 2.

What are the course requirements?
There is a 45 minute test for each ECDL Essential and ECDL Extra unit. All tests are online and your result will be displayed on completion.

How will this qualification help me?
ECDL will confirm to potential employers that you have a professionally recognised, relevant and up-to-date qualification.
